I am passionate about client-centred care. Through my work, I aim to empower my clients to build a positive relationship with food & with their bodies through healthy habit formation, flexibility and continuous learning & growing. I do NOT promote dieting behaviours, restrictive food rules or eliminations, or “good” versus “bad” food.
Instead, I encourage eating for well-being and encourage good nutrition overall because it FEELS good rather than because of any moral value.

My approach to health is integrative - looking not only at diet, but movement, mental health and social well-being.
I do not believe in attaining health through restrictive diets, but rather through discovering a balance that makes your body and mind feel good and supports overall health. When working with me, I will help you create comfortable habits that feel rewarding and sustainable, rather than fostering unpleasant food-rules that do not fit your lifestyle or preferences.
Absolutely NOT! First line management of IBS is all about managing HOW you eat, HOW OFTEN, HOW MUCH and ADDING nutrients and fluids, specifically a good balance of fibres for optimal digestion and comfort. We will also address other IBS management tools besides diet.
This is ONLY a second line treatment OPTION and is MOST OFTEN NOT required.
This is patient specific and is definitely not an option for every individual. If you have heard of this diet, please DO NOT attempt to do it alone without dietician supervision.
A dietician's input on this diet is essential in order to get sufficient nutrition and ensure that this diet is only used for a short period in order to find specific triggers and then reintroduce as many foods as possible back into the diet.
By understanding your specific gut health challenges, dietary choices and patterns and lifestyle, we can work with you to optimise your digestive function, reduce IBS symptoms, and promote overall well-being.
Strategies that we may work on include meal timing and mindfulness strategies, as well as additions in specific nutrients to ensure your gut receives the best care possible.
